About Us

KRE Corporate Recovery

Based in central Reading and working with businesses throughout the UK, our business is made up of three directors

Between us we have more than 100 years of experience in the corporate recovery field, and we have worked together as a team for more than 15 years.

All Directors have worked within the “Big 4” accountancy firms, mid-tier firms and now KRE, giving us the necessary experiences and skills to undertake engagements of any size.

Together with the three directors, we have an incredibly experienced team of insolvency senior managers, managers and administrators, most of whom have worked with each of us for more than 15 years. To learn more about us, please visit our Team page.

Expert advice that’s right for you

At KRE, we pride ourselves on providing the right advice with a personal touch. All engagements will be led by a Director and will start with an initial meeting either by phone, video call or in person to understand the specific factors affecting your business.

Although it is undoubtedly a stressful time for business owners and directors, we work hard to provide the support and advice that is required.

We can help carry the burden

As a company director facing business difficulties, we understand the amount of stress and pressure that you are trying to deal with. We’re here to reassure you that you don’t need to carry this burden alone.

Financial difficulties

Financial difficulties are not uncommon in today’s challenging business market. Whether they come as a result of losing a large and valuable customer, changes in interest rates and financial agreements, or poor financial planning and decision making, it is important that you don’t delay in taking steps to save your business and protect all stakeholders.

Releasing the pressure

We have helped a whole range of people in very different situations to take positive steps towards a new beginning. In all cases, we release our clients from the pressures associated with a financial crisis, and can therefore assist in dealing with all aspects of the business, including discussions with the company’s bank and other key creditors.

Corporate recovery does not mean the end

We work from the common ground that corporate recovery doesn’t mean the end, but a new start for the business and stakeholders.

As well as being able to help companies to get back on their feet without even entering into a formal process, we also help those who choose the route of insolvency to turn what they initially perceive as the end into a new chapter for their business.

This is because we work independently and have access to a large network of professional contacts. Consequently we’re able to offer a full suite of corporate recovery options depending on your situation and circumstances.

As an independent practice, we prefer to take a personal approach. You’ll receive Director level input throughout the entire process, as well as an after-hours helpline should you need urgent advice from a Director.

What our clients think

“We have worked with Rob, Paul and Gareth over many years and can well understand why they would be the preferred choice for discerning professionals who, like us, do not have a corporate recovery offering. They are great to work with, knowledgeable, trustworthy and talented with huge experience built over many years of doing great work. Seriously well networked and very good communicators, they consistently show that they are very much “people people” in what can be a stressful environment for many of their clients. Success for them is not merely the ‘transaction’ itself but the focus on the people and their futures including all the stakeholders within any particular transaction. Through providing great service they have in my view justifiably earned their place in the business community as great people to do business with. I know many other professionals including Bankers who share my view”.
